At Falcon, we’re no strangers to carrying out projects across the whole of South Wales. Recently, Falcon’s team of home improvement experts installed a black and white composite door in a property in Llantwit Major.
A property in need of better security, energy efficiency and aesthetics
We were approached by the homeowners of the property, which was situated in the small coastal town of Llantwit Major, who were looking to improve the overall performance and appearance of their home with a new front door.
Composite doors: exceptional performance
We suggested that the homeowners install a composite door, due to the array of benefits that these particular types of door provide.
Composite doors are made up of a variety of materials, including timber, high-density foam and glass-reinforced plastic. Thanks to their robust and durable design, composite doors provide some of the highest levels of security that is available on the door market to date, and here at Falcon, they’re fitted with multipoint locking systems for additional security as standard.
These types of door are also incredibly energy efficient and can help to keep heat in your home for much longer, reducing the cost of your energy bills.
After thinking the suggestion over, the homeowners agreed and we got to work!
Diamond glazing for enhanced aesthetics
As one of the key aims of the project was to ensure that the overall appearance and style of the home was maintained and not compromised, the composite door we installed in the property was in a classic white design that matched the aesthetic of the existing building incredibly well.
It also utilised a bespoke diamond glazing design to further enhance the overall appearance of the door.
Installing the door presented no challenge to Falcon’s team of expert installers, who have been improving homes across South Wales for over 10 years now. The homeowners were incredibly happy with the standard of the finished installation.
