What does A mean?
A is one of the values used in the BFRC’s system of rating the performance of energy efficient windows. In the system, windows are placed on an alphabetical scale depending on their levels of energy efficiency. The best performing windows for energy efficiency are rated A, whilst the worst are G rated. Average double glazing only achieves a C rating and could be the reason your property is freezing cold in winter.
