What is a Sentinel solid roof?
Sentinel timber solid roofs are a highly insulated, lightweight timber roof solution. The timber beams are attached directly onto your conservatory walls and the exterior wall of your original property. Glulam eaves beams are erected to create the roof’s apex and individual pods containing high-performance insulation are bolted into position.
A waterproof air permeable felt membrane covers the roof before eaves protection and tiling is installed. Inside, a vapour barrier is attached to complete the weatherproofing, making your home wind and water tight. Internal plasterboard can now be attached and skimmed before decorating begins.
A wide range of tile styles and colours
When you want your Sentinel roof to match your existing home’s style, you won’t be disappointed. Choose from a range of different colours including pewter grey and brick red with a tile or slate effect finish. All tiles used on Sentinel roofs are British Board of Agrément (BBA) accredited for their excellent weather resistance and anti-corrosion qualities.
