Transform your home with uPVC patio sliding doors

Elegant uPVC sliding patio doors are a practical addition to any home. Large expanses of glass allow for uninterrupted views to a landscaped garden while saving space and filling a room full of natural light.  Our doors are a popular alternative to aluminium and wooden patio doors, as they do not absorb moisture or rot, like wood. They don’t bend, or warp and are very easy to maintain.

Sliding patio doors can be configured to suit the space available, with 2, 3 or even 4 panes possible, and spans of up to 6m giving a truly dramatic look to any room. Each door will be configured to suit your home, aperture size and your personal taste.

Let the light in

Natural light can make a room lighter, brighter and gives the feeling of more space – being exposed to daylight has also been linked to improved wellbeing. By adding a sliding patio door, you will let in tons of natural light, making your room feel fresher and colours brighter.

Frame your view

A uPVC sliding patio door can transform your room by opening the entire wall to your garden. You will benefit from an unobscured view of your landscaped garden, courtyard, or patio, without sacrificing space.

Modern technology

Sliding patio doors are manufactured to the highest quality using reinforced uPVC. Doors are fitted with energy efficient double glazing as standard, making it harder for intruders to break in and triple glazing can be specified to make it even tougher!

Colour options

White is still the most popular door colour, but we can offer you a wide range of other tones, such as red, subtle greys, or beautiful woodgrain finishes, such as Irish Oak and Rosewood. Choose a colour which matches your property, whether it is a country cottage, contemporary apartment balcony, commercial or traditional Victorian terrace. You can even specify one colour on the external face and a different colour on the interior to complement your décor.

Security

Doors are vulnerable spots which are often targeted by thieves, so how do you keep your home secure?

  1. Double glazing – intruders are more likely to gain access to your property through windows or doors than anything else, but if you have single glazing, then you are making it easier for them. Our doors are fitted with 28mm double glazing, which is tough and makes it hard to break the glass. For additional security, toughened glass can be installed. All doors are internally beaded, so the glass cannot be removed from the outside.
  2. Always lock your patio door – almost a third of burglaries do not require a forced entry as the door has been left unlocked. Keep your doors locked if you are not using them or are out of the house.
  3. Hang curtains or blinds – sliding doors feature large panes of glass which can help any would-be intruders to see straight into your home and see your belongings. Blinds or curtains can help to cover this at night, when the lights are on or while you are away, so intruders cannot see inside.
  4. Multi-point locking systems – ensure that your new door is fitted with a high-quality locking system to prevent intruders from forcing their way in.
  5. Anti-lift devices – this is the best way of preventing a door from being lifted from its tracks once the lock is engaged.
  6. Frames – our door frames are made using uPVC but are reinforced with steel, ensuring they are strong and robust.
