Brecon Beacons
If you love the outdoors, you simply have to visit the Brecon Beacons. And with the recent spell of warm weather, there couldn’t be a better time to do so. Home to the largest peak in South Wales, Pen-Y-Fan, the Brecon Beacons is host to a range of wildlife and native trees. Cardiff Food Festival
The perfect choice for those looking to work out their taste buds, from Friday 6th – 8th of July Cardiff Bay will be home to the Cardiff Food Festival. On offer is a huge mix of street foods, including pasta, pizza, ice cream & much more. A wide selection of cheese and ales are also available. And even if you don’t check out the festival Cardiff Bay is well-worth a visit. Dotted with plenty of lovely bars and eateries, it has a 4.5/5 average rating on TripAdvisor. You can enjoy a boat trip around the bay, visit the Welsh National Assembly, the home of Welsh parliament, & more.
Baked Bean Museum of Excellence
Located in Port Talbot, the Baked Bean Museum of Excellence is rated as the No. 1 thing to do there on TripAdvisor. A highly unique experience, receive an in-depth insight into the world of baked beans from Captain Beany, see some baked bean-related relics, old advertisements, a range of merchandise and more.
Dulais Valley Quads
Here you can take a 250cc Quad Bike through 175 acres of hilly, muddy terrain. An exhilarating experience, the day is then finished off with some archery. The reviews feature several glowing appraisals of the staff, no doubt contributing to the certificate of excellence the attraction has received on TripAdvisor. About a 20 minute drive from Neath, it’s suitable for kids as well, although they’ll have to make do with slower hardware.
