Extend your home in style with a veranda from Falcon Installations. Verandas are a versatile way to extend your property. Blurring the line between home and garden, a veranda will provide a large space for all the family to enjoy.
The ultimate in contemporary living
Verandas from Falcon Installations can be incorporated into your home in several different ways. Our verandas have glazing bars in the roof oversail which support the glass to create a sheltered living area. The walls can be made from large in-line sliders or bi-fold doors to create a much larger living space.
An external half round beam provides structural support for the oversailing glazing and glazing bars. It also acts as an integral gutter featuring stop end spigots that seal the gutter at one end and are spliced onto an oak post to support the open side of the veranda. Aluminium down pipes can also be used or rain water can be directed down hanging chains for more of an authentic feel.
With regards to the walls, it’s your decision how your veranda is designed and constructed. Depending on your home’s requirements, one side can be masonry and the other glazed, or both walls can be masonry. It’s this versatility that makes a veranda a great choice when you want to extend your home.
Versatile veranda options
Depending on your requirements and the position of your home, verandas can be installed in several different ways. A veranda can be fitted:
- Between two same length walls
- Between two different length walls
- In reverse pitch situations
- Mono or duo pitch
- On top of glazed side frames
- As wrap arounds
